Bower Cottage

Bower Cottage is an 18th Century classic Cornish Cottage which needed complete refurbishment and modernisation. Planning permission was granted to extend the gable end of this cottage to provide modern family open plan living. We were enlisted to design and project manage, taking it from a two-bedroom one bath roomed property to a 3-bedroom 4 bath roomed luxury holiday home. This entailed modernising the efficiency of the property by installing air sourced heat pump so the property could run on electric and insulating the properties thick granite walls. The interior design, colour choices and material finishes were a real opportunity to honour the history of the property and tasteful selections were made to tell the story of the property and its location. We took care of the project management throughout allowing a stress-free experience for the client.
